SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Packages ship within 3 business days from the date we receive the order.
With our standard express option, your parcel takes an estimated 11-14 business days (from dispatch date) to arrive.
If you need super speedy shipping, our prime tracked option gets your package delivered within around 5 business days. Do note that the stated delivery times are only averages based on our experience. They are strictly estimates. We are unable to account for any delays due to acts of God, customs clearance, technical difficulties in logistics systems.
Please check your country’s importation policy before making a purchase. The customer is responsible for any taxes, import duties or fees imposed by government authorities and shipping partners. Do also note that some countries do impose bans or restrictions on items such as batteries. For example, Qatar bans the importation of batteries. We still accept orders and would ship to these countries but will not be responsible for the removal of banned items.
SHUTTERHOUSE GUARANTEE
99% of our cameras are pre-loved, so customers acknowledge and accept that there may be signs of wear and use on the camera. This is part and parcel of owning a vintage or retro item. The signs of history and battlescars remind us that we’ve done something good — we’ve saved another precious camera from a landfill.
If the camera has any noteworthy issues such as lcd leaks, screen cracks, focusing issues etc., it will be stated in the description or shown in the pictures. Every camera we sell receives two rounds of thorough inspection — once when it arrives in our store, and again right before we dispatch. So you can relax and have peace of mind.
The following aspects are tested to satisfactory condition before our pros can certify the unit as functional:
- Lens mechanics
- Shutter button
- Flash firing
- Screen integrity
- Sensor condition
- Lens optics
WARRANTY & RETURNS
ShutterHouse offers a 14-day warranty* on all cameras we sell. This does not apply to accessories included with the camera (batteries, chargers, charging cables, memory cards, pouches and wrist straps etc.).
The following criteria must be satisfied for a refund request to be considered:
- An unboxing video must be submitted to prove that the item arrived in a broken condition that was not described or shown in the listing. The video must have no cuts or breaks, starting with the package in its intact condition.
- The item(s) must be in original condition with all of the original packaging included.
- The item(s) must not have been disassembled, damaged or altered in any way.
Any items that appear to have been damaged or altered in any way will be refused. Defects or damage due to misuse, such as water damage, oxidation, dropping, or impact damage, negligence and general wear and tear are not covered by the warranty. Repairs or modifications carried out by someone other than ShutterHouse will result in cancellation of the warranty.
Requests for returns must be submitted to shutterhousepals@gmail.com within 3 days of the delivery date of the package. Delayed unboxing of the package does not entitle the buyer to an extended warranty.
The request for return must be accompanied by the original receipt. The refund, if approved, will be made to the original payment method.
ShutterHouse reserves the right to refuse any returns which do not meet our return policy requirements, or are returned without written approval.
*All orders shipped to war or conflict affected regions are considered final sale. Shipping affected by acts of God are not covered. The buyer accepts that the warranty is void.
All returns are subject to a return fee of 25% of the retail price of the item (s), which the buyer is deemed to have acknowledged and accepted upon purchase.
Initial shipping charges are non-refundable.
